According to Dr. Simeons, you should have an ultimate goal of completing 21 consecutive, non cheating days on the diet at some point to positively affect your long term metabolism and results.

So you may need to do a planned break/ planned interruption. The details of a PI are... If you need to take a break for any reason while you are on the protocol what we found to be the most effective way to continue and not lose too much time and effort on what you’ve done is to take what we call a planned break. This is when you stop taking the HCG three days before you expect to be in a position where you are going to want to eat more. Whether it be a vacation, a hospital stay, a weekend out of town or on business, 3 days prior to your planned break, stop taking the HCG and continue the 500 calorie diet. While you are on your planned break it is highly recommended that you stay as close to the Atkins Diet, which is high protein and low carb, as much as possible so that you don’t go too far back or gain too much weight while on the break. If you will be drinking alcohol opt for hard liquors rather than margaritas, beer or daiquiris. Snack foods high in protein such as nuts are a good option. Continue this for the duration of the trip. When the break is over you can jump right back on the HCG and continue your cycle. No gorge days are needed as you begin again. If your break last longer than 10 days, you will want to wait the full 6 weeks before starting the drops and diet again. You must have 21 consecutive low calorie days either before or after the planned break!

I hope this helps!
Here's to being skinny!
