We have so many nicknames! Honestly, they are a bit embarrassing to even admit to other people. One of our dogs, an Australian Shepherd named Bandit, probably has the worst of it. Since he is a pure-breed, he already has three technical names written on his papers. This has resulted in a series of amusing nicknamed such as:
- Banderas: This came from his pure-breed papers. Sometimes, we even call him Antonio!
- Bandito
- Banderbear: From
The Edge Chronicles
. He's black and white and reminds you of a panda, so we reverted his name into a different form of bear.
- Snuffleupagus: From Sesame Street. We call him this, because every time he rolls onto his back (which is often), he sneezes! We pronounce it more like "snuffle-wuffle-gus" than its original pronunciation.
