Chris g, have you ever tried yoga? It's a great way to lose weight, decrease stress and increase muscle tone, and you don't have to join a gym or anything. Also, as far as how much to eat, try conscious eating, where you pay attention to when you are "satisfied" but not actually "full." Stick mostly with fruits and veggies for fiber and antioxidants, nuts, eggs, and lean meats for protein, and whole grain bread and oatmeal. Avoid a lot of sugar, but when you want to sweeten things up, you can use alternatives like stevia and Nectress, which is a monk fruit extract. Let me know if you need more detailed advice.
