CIBUCKEYE1 - Eating a normal portion of everything on the LC menu "seemed" like I was really pigging out!
Indeed, Tril, POOR choice of words. To ME, I was "pigging out" because I thought I would have to nibble on the fringe of the meal, like when I was counting calories before. With LC, of COURSE we can eat the normal portion, be filled and be totally satisfied!
An additional note, when on Induction, be cognizant of the ingredients. My absolutely wonderful pie crust has almond meal - OWL NUT RUNG (NOT Induction.) Just make the dessert a "parfait" in a cute cup to enjoy with no crust if on Induction...that's how easy it is to "adapt" a LC recipe!
The best of luck to you over the holidays! Enjoy scanning the Internet. Linda's Low Carb Site (Google it) has so many wonderful recipes for Induction, with pictures, and her personal review for them. Go there and get a bunch of ideas to get you through every day AND the holiday!
Best of luck to you! And thanks, Tril, for ensuring I "explained" my enthusiasm for the LC lifestyle! ALWAYS, everything in moderation! No PIGGING OUT! (Except on water!! LOL!)
