so sorry to hear about your brother in law....
hey - don't worry about your cake-fest - it IS a new day, and you are back in control, baby!
just tell yourself that every little bit of sugar gets stored and used, and every time you eat some fat or protein, you're getting closer to using up the cake, and getting back into fat-burning. also - eat some good stuff! (like camembert cheese, or parmesan crackers: blob some in the frying pan, or on greaseproof paper int he microwave, sprinkle some chili powder on if you like and fry or micro until crackery! mmmm with cream of brocc soup! (bag of brocc, cup of stock, cook til mushy,and blend with lots of cream...)
you can do it! and any cravings will be gone again soon if you don't give in!
