Default Loose skin?
I would like to lose ten inches from my waist. (I'm tall, so I'm not actually rolling like a ball now.)

I'm 45.

I'm wondering if I'm going to have to worry about loose skin if I lose so much girth as quickly as possible. I'm female, so while I can build up my shoulders, arms, thighs and bottom to help the fat burning effort and keep my skin "full" I'm not into building up my waist. I intend to strengthen my core, but not to bulk up my middle. I'm not sure how much I will be able to "pull up" like a dancer at this age and a pretty crappy level of fitness, but I'll give it a try.

So...is loose skin inevitable? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? Will it resolve on it's own?

I've never had that problem before, but then, I've never been this age before.

Any insight?

Hodja (trying to head off any possible shock or disappointment so I don't get disappointed or discouraged down the road)
