Will the fat we eat be used as fuel???????????
Hi, and am brand new to this forum, but not new to this diet. Actually, it is my wife who is on the diet, for the last 3 years, more or less. She lost about 45 kilo, or 100 pounds over a period of 18 months, and want to loose the rest 15 kilos now. But it seems a bit harder now, to loose it. And she is visiting some forums in Norway, to find some answers. Not so easy always, maybe someone here can help?
She used to eat a lot of fat, both essential oils and fat like cream, when she lost the first 100 pounds, and it sometimes went too fast, one month she lost a pound per day, actually, before it slowed down. It was crazy how fast it went.
But now...not that fun. Doesn`t seem to work. And we wonder: The fat she eat, will the body use that as fuel, before it takes on burning the bodyfat? Meaning, if she eats a lot of fat, will that mean she will not burn the fat who is already on the body, hence not loosing weight?
Anyone who has ANY knowledge on this topic, PLEASE answer. My wife is also on a very strict carb diet, she is on 20 g or less per day. She has a sensitive carb body.
She smokes, drink two cups of coffe with caffein per day, and eats chicken, eggs, bacon, pork chops, steaks, ketose bread, cheese, oil, take high vitamin and mineral supplements, drink a lot of water. She does not exercise, though, as she did the month she lost a pound per day. That month we went swimming in a lake, for 45 to 60 minutes non stop.
