You can have anything that doesn't have a lot of carbs in it, basically.

Chicken, Fish, and Eggs are all fine, as long as there's no breading involved.

During induction, you'll want to stay under 20 carbs a day. 15 of those 20 should be coming from vegetables.

You shouldn't deprive yourself or count calories specifically, but that isn't carte blanch to be at the extremes.

In the beginning just focus on staying under 20 carbs and eating until you're full. Your appetite should start to diminish by day 3 or 4.

As you progress, you need to be careful to not eat too little. It's counter-intuitive, but eating too little will actually cause you to lose less weight than you could be. Good minimum targets are 1500 calories a day for a woman, and 1800 for a man.

I highly recommending picking up a copy of the book if you don't have one, there's a wealth of information contained within.
