Two days is NOT enough to gauge weight loss. Two WEEKS might be. Did you really measure your waist after just two days?

I'm worried about your preoccupation with losing weight fast... I'm afraid it's going to come back and bite you in the butt. Lose it fast and you'll gain it back even faster. The worst part about that is when you lose you don't just lose body fat... you also lose lean tissue (muscle). No matter which diet you do, you will lose muscle. BUT, when you gain weight you ONLY GAIN FAT. This is why yo-yoing is so bad. You'll end up at the same (or higher) weight but you'll be fatter at that same weight than you were when you started. Nobody wants that.

I get that you have thyroid issues. Because of it, you'll need to practice even more patience. Wouldn't you rather lose 1/2 to 1 pound of mostly fat per week... than lose any more muscle?

I'll be quiet about this now because I think it's a message you simply aren't ready to hear. But I'll wish you much success and I hope you're able to get your meds working in your favor soon.

As for the fat fast... read that chapter again and then decide if you truly fit the criteria for using it.
