Default I completely wrecked my diet over the weekend. Never again.
Friday I'd been good all day. Stuck to atkins by the book and then went to an exercise class. Came back feeling good ... but husband had bought some chinese whilst I was out and the smell ...

Well ... I ate:

3 prawn TOASTS.
Half a pack of crispy seaweed
4 duck pancakes with hoi sin sauce.

Needless to say, afterwards I felt AWFUL. I felt sick, bloated, guilty, frustrated with myself and I dread to think of the carbs I ate.

So Saturday came, again I was good all day, we went to cinema on the night time and on the way home hubby suggested we go for an Indian. I have no idea what made me say 'yes', but I did.

So, I ate:

1 portion of beef korma
half a portion of RICE :x
A quarter of naan BREAD
A poppadom.

As well as four bottles of lager later on.

Now, my punishment came on thick and fast. I felt absolutely terrible afterwards and I ended up spending the entire night being sick in the bathroom. Waking up with stomach pains and cold sweats ... carb overload? Or just general reaction to an extremely unhealthy binge?

Well, never again. I punished myself by stepping on the scales (+1lb) and I ended up completely out of ketosis. I couldn't WAIT to get back on my atkins. Never before have I felt so bloated and ridiculous.

And now I have to start all over again.

Well I'm taking it as a lesson to be learnt. Binging on food is not a "treat", it's a punishment to our bodies. And now I'm more determined than ever to stick to the book!
