Hi! I'm also someone suffering from lupus. All started with joints pain after my first child was born. But they put it down to reumathoid arthritis. I took some tablets but then after a while I didn't have any pain and came off the tablets and was fine until after 6 years my second one was born and it all started again. This time I had a new doctor and they did very thorugh investigations and I was diagnosed with lupus. (was 24 first time and then 30) It was the shock of my life and I only wish I could raise my children up. I am on meds now and was on hormons at one point and that made me pile on weight, which I haven't been able to shed off. Also I do get depressed although I couldn't understand it before - just when I looked back at the situations I could see that stress made me just eat and sit in front of telly. So now I'm trying Atkins. Today is only my 4th day so I don't know how it's affecting me but I am desperate to get my weight down...
