It very common for any subsequent attempts at low carb to not have the same results... there are many reasons for this. You're older, your lifestyle is probably different, your body is different... you've lost and then regained. When you lost 90# it wasn't all fat loss. It never is. But when you gained 50# virtually all of it was fat gain. So your body composition is different now.

I can't eat Atkins products. Glycerin is a sugar alcohol... it's just not recognized by the FDA the same as sorbitol, etc. You should know that many individuals can and do metabolize a percentage of sugar alcohols. The general "safe" rule of thumb is to deduct only half the sugar alcohol carbs. Your body may be using some of those carbs... so you're not actually eating as few as you think.

Ditch the products... see what happens.

And, sorry to say... expect it to take longer this time. It's just the way it works.
