I would say no... from the SPAM website:

"SPAM® Classic is made of just a few simple ingredients. Ham, pork, sugar, salt, water, a little potato starch, and a mere hint of sodium nitrite to help SPAM® keep its color."

Sugar, potato starch and nitrates... definitely NOT a health food. LOL

We always said that SPAM was an acronym for Some Parts Are Meat. It's the parts that aren't meat that will kill ya.
