Maryanne... since BlueLady had never gotten her carbs up to Induction level, that's where I started (and didn't suggest adding from the carb ladder).

I, too, have added foods from the carb ladder... making SURE that I get the minimum 17 - 20 net grams from veggies first. That's the first rung of the ladder, adding an additional 5 net carbs from veggies. If I don't have those, I better not be indulging in the other rungs, ya know?

But that's me... and how I do it. I function better (IYKWIM) having more veggies than more of the other kinds of carbs.
