LOL... do you have a tent?? Have you ever set one up? If not, learn BEFORE you go how to set it up. It stinks if it's the first time and the bugs are biting and the rain is threatening and it's coming on DARK.

Yeah... practice it. lol Oh... and bring a tarp to put UNDER the tent (fold in any excess that might hang out) so if it rains, you won't be floating inside the tent. Tucking in the extra with let the rain run into the ground and not make a puddle under your tent. If you're having a fire, situate the opening of the tent away from the fire so you don't fill it with smoke.

Bring pads to sleep on... or cheap air mattresses. The ground is cold and your bones will thank you.

Don't forget flashlights... and extra batteries (headlamps are the BEST when camping/cooking in the dark). And toilet paper. And a first aid kit.
