Personal goals/rewards:
I've always wanted to take horseback riding lessons. Most of the stables have a weight limit for lessons--so you don't break the horse's back! I've gotten below all of those restrictions now.
So, when I get down to 175 (1.5 pounds to go), I plan to sign up for riding lessons. It's good exercise and will keep me motivated to stay slim.
When I was a kid, I had a rather large pony that I rode all the time. It was so much fun! We'd go galloping across the fields--just like flying! However, I only rode bareback, with just a home-made rope halter. I never learned to ride with a saddle and bridle with a bit. I guess if I learn English style, it's closer to bareback than Western style.
Also, when I reach my goal of 136, I plan to take a trip to either New York or Paris, or both if I can afford it.
