I've been trying to avoid what Tril calls "frankenfoods" because I want to develop habits that will keep me slim for the rest of my life. It's the processed foods that seem to be my downfall.

If I start eating the fake foods, it will just keep me craving the real versions. It's better for me to make it a habit to eat the real thing in appropriate quantities. That's why I don't use ketchup anymore, even though sugar-free ketchup is available. I used to put ketchup on nearly everything, including scrambled eggs. That was a tough habit to break. I do eat sugar-free jello, but I have never had a problem with overeating real jello.
