Vacation/Holiday eating
Ok, I'm aiming to be a certain weight for my holiday in the west of Ireland. I'm going with my family which has three kids under the age of eight and my boyfriend. It will be chaos, but lovely chaos.
Point is, I don't want to gain all the weight I've lost back. I will try to keep to induction style eating as far as possible, but with excursions etc it may be difficult.
In the book Atkins says its allowable to temporarily go onto life maintenance levels of carbs for vacation, and that if I as a women with moderate resistance did this I could have thirty five grams of carb approx a day.
I wouldn't need this every day, just some days. The theory is I won't lose but I shouldn't gain. Has anybody done this? Does it work?
And if it doesn't does anyone have any advice? It's over two weeks away but I've worked too hard to gain my weight back because of poor organisation and planning!
Any advice appreciated,
