OK, give me 2 Hail Mary's and 1 Our father!!!

I understand why you are cheating and the apparent weight loss directly after is probably not re-inforcing the "damage" you are doing to following the diet in the spirit of a low-carb lifestyle.

i would say.... instead of seeing it as little cheats here and there....stay on plan and follow the diet and then give yourself an "off hour" every 10 days. If you eat naughty (or too many) carbs within the 60 minute mark you reduce the chances of an insulin spike, which can lead to a dangerous spiral of binge-eating. So.... the psychology of this strategy is...if you know you can and are allowed to eat something forbidden, its not really seen subconsciously as a cheat and that sensation to eat it will drop....or you will still eat it on your cheat hour and enjoy it that much more because you have permission to do so.

Good luck! 8)
