My neice became a Jew about three years back. A prerequisite to marriage. She is a decent and intelligent person and I don't believe she knows what she bought into. This leads to the question Is it a race or a religion? Personally I think it is a race. They just happen to have adopted a religion that suits them and they are atheist when it suits them also. I am talking about Ashenazi Jews. For the purposes of this discussion, Shepardim don't really have the political clout as a group, or am I wrong?
