This is an excellent explanation that I will pass on.

On the same topic, I was recently camping at Glacier National Park (the UN Heritage Peace Park ). I like to get up there early in the season for wildlife photos.

It had been several years since I camped inside the park, but sunrise comes fast, so I did it this time. I was very surprised to find no electricity inside the bathrooms at the campground. So for $20 a night, they disconnected all the electrical, (yes they covered the outlets with stainless covers) and they provided paper towels which I've never seen in any other rustic campground anywhere. I have no problem roughing it, but to pretend we wouldn't notice the covers? I'll stay out in the Nat'l Forest with no amenities and no charge next time!

At the top of Logan Pass in the visitor center, I found flush toilets and absolutely no sinks.

The Greenies are crazy and stupid.
