There's probably something more to this, remember Batman 1989:

"The poison works when components are mixed. Hairspray won't do it alone.
But hairspray mixed with lipstick and perfume will be toxic, and traceable."

TPTB use chemicals in products that become deadly when combined. They target products that most every sheep uses. Milk probably has one of these chemicals, as well as influenza shots... and more than likely, soft drinks.

Hell yeah, they don't want competing alternative products on the market. That's why it seems so ridiculous for them to fight for milk.
