I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago called "The Shakespear Fraud". It is based on the somewhat well researched theory that Shakespear hardly was able to put two words together on paper in a logical fashion. Has father was an illiterate and so was his children. His description of Italy in his books were impossible for someone who hadn't lived there. And it seems likely that "Shakespear" stopped writing around 1605, when the real author died, who was a lord possibly even the illigitemate son of Queen Elisabeth, I forgot his name now. After 1605 Shakespear went back to his hometown and became a trader of sort...
Some believe Sir Francis Bacon is the real Bard of Avon.
