I wonder if it can be a precursor to a huge one in a couple of days... Similar to what happened in Dec 2004. A 7.8 was reported in the sea off New Zealand a couple of days prior to the Tsunami Earthquake in Indonesia Dec 26... If it is a similar event then expect the huge one to occur on a different fault line...
