Thanks for the headszup. I feel informed now.
Sounds like a clever ploy for plain vanilla "denial of service." The only question I have is what do they gain? Or how do they know they've won in their global game of who blinks first?
They are non-centralized, and cannot be "beheaded." They are power hungry, and that is payday for a lot of hourly and salaried people. Since it is so close to April first it will be written off as an early April Fool's Joke and their inelegant brandishing of "tech power" will be muted by an old-fashioned, older than they are prankster day circled on the Calendar. If they really wanted to make a statement, they would perform their nonsense on April 15th, or 1st Tuesday in November or some such, yes.
Just more controlled opposition masquerading as "doing something..."
