I typically say Rhode Island, instead of The State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Not many people realize that's the states full name.

Point taken. I seriously thought it was just Rhode Island. :O I didn't know that it had such a long name. Well that's like Washington DC is Washington District of Columbia.
