Jolene and Ruger are on and off chainspots and tethers throughout the day, so they wear collars for that purpose - and since neither of them play with the other dogs, I don't have to worry about their collars getting destroyed.

Peshamba wears the collar she came with from her breeder, that has tags on it and a riveted on ID plate.

If either of those three get crated, their collars stay on. None of them do anything stupid to get hung up.

Bukra and Zealand don't wear collars unless we're going somewhere off the property. If Bukra were to somehow get caught on something or if one of the other dogs grabbed his collar, his neck could be broken. Zealand doesn't because he plays with Bindah a lot, and they're always grabbing each others' throats/necks and a collar would just get destroyed.
