A lot of people on here own multiple dogs. I think what you read around here is people accepting the reality of what their dogs are: very strong dogs with a propensity for dog aggression. That doesn't mean they don't have confidence in the breed, but it does mean they accept that owning a pit bull comes with certain responsibilities that you might not have with other dogs.
I am really getting sick of this mentality that unless you think pit bulls are perfect little angels then you're being a big jerk throwing a turd in the punch bowl. ALL dog owners should be aware of the good and bad of their breed and mitigate any potential issues. That's just being responsible.
If sounds like you're being responsible by keeping your dogs in separate kennels. Yay!
