I live in Australia too, I, myself own a pitbull and would never look back.. They shouldn't be illegal here, beautiful loyal dogs. But sadly they are and there's nothing we can do about it

Well, thats a defeatist attitude! Many places here in the US have had bans that were repealed after public outcry. Join a group or two that is active in protesting and trying to get the ban repealed where you live.
