Do you have a pedigree? Are you still in contact with the person who bred the dog's litter and do you actually, truly trust that person? If you say no to either of these, then there's a good chance you'll never know if she's pure bred. Even then, papers can be hung, accidents can happen that the breeder doesn't want to own up to etc..

But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy her as your companion.

How old is your girl? Any pictures?
