Default My dog got propositioned this morning....
Trigger went out with my husband on their usual morning bike-ride. When he stopped at a light a man approached said "what a good looking dog, do you want to breed him? I got a brindle female who I would like to breed."

The man, first of all, NEVER really looked close, and my husband told him Trigger was fixed, end of story... he still went on about why would we do that.

If I had been there I would certainly have said a few things..first ...like it's none of your business.

We usually get some people staring at Trigger on our bike rides, but usually after they get a good look at his tail end, they stop. These dogs are in high demand here for the obvious reasons, and I'm so glad we got him fixed.

Trigger is a good looking dog, but I know it is because we have given him quality care, lots of excercise, and that is what shows. But after being here on the forum, I have learned he does not meet show quality material, and that is okay. I am just happy I know the difference and so many people don't and have no business owning and especially breeding them. I'm happy we were able to intervene and bring this dog back to health, and I will certainly take credit for his "good looks".

I know if I ever get my own APBT, Iknow what to look for in the breed.

Here is a pic of our boy, before they went on their bike ride/walk. He looks a bit heavy to me on this pic, but everyone else thinks he looks fine.
