The cops have better shit to do than get into the middle of some He-said-she said squabble. I'm not sure you have a case at all anyhow. Bottom line is you (or your BF) willing handed your dog over to that person. The police Will NOT see this as a stolen property issue.

He did not give our dog to the guy, he made an arrangement/agreement.

My boyfriend and I own Sasha-- you might have seen her, the red nose pitbull who walks around with sunglasses or dressed up in a shirt. We've brought our baby everywhere and she's a part of our family. She was pregnant because of us (her due date was in late Sept), and was STOLEN by a guy named Billy Eldridge from Somerville who lives in Malden/Medford/Everett. We got into a tough spot and he promised to take care of her for a couple days and in exchange we would give a puppy. We only needed someone to take care of her for a few days until we got into our new apartment, a WEEK at most. She has now been stolen since September 1st, 2011.
He picks up his phone 5% of the time, and tells us how she's doing fine and says we can visit her, etc., then will NOT give us any information where he lives and doesn't return any phone calls.

She is a red and blue nose, but looks red. She literally has a red nose, (I have gotten calls and emails with links to dogs with black on them, she has absolutely no black on her!) Her coat is red/copper with white on her chest and a little bit of white on her paws. Her eyes are hazel/golden, the same color as her coat. She has extremely short cropped ears from her previous owners. She has two identical moles on each side of her cheeks. She looks muscular and lean, and has a very happy temperament. She gets along with children, and loves other dogs unless they are a dominant female. She LOVES people. She is the first pit I've ever owned and because of her I feel a very strong love for American Pit Bull Terriers, they do NOT deserve the bad rep they get!

Please let me know if you have ANY information on our baby Sasha, I'm worried about her and her puppies. This is not just an animal you can take, we are not looking to get rid of her or give her away, this is our family! PLEASE CONTACT IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION OR IF YOU HAVE SEEN HER OR HIM ANYWHERE.
