Don't rely just on the Internet. If you plan on "doing" shows ... get to some registry sanctioned events and see what the dogs look like. Ask lots of questions. Most dog owners are very approachable

Kharris you need to determine what breed you want. DO you want an Am Staff, A UKC American Pit Bull Terrier which in all sense and purposes is not the same as an ADBA American Pit Bull Terrier. Or do you want an American Bully.

I had always wanted an AKC registered AmStaff. So, I found a breeder than bred them, and they happened to be dual registered with UKC as well.
