Boomer had thin hair on his neck anyway but wearing a regular collar made it thinner. He now wears a martingale chain collar like this one. Martingale Style Adjustable Dog Collar - Dog Supplies

He does not scratch at it and it is very loose. The hair on his neck looks good now.
