I'm thinking since it appears the fur is trying to grow in that maybe it's 'itchy' like razor stubble is itchy.Like collar rubbing on razor stubble.The more she scratches because the collar rubs,the more she rubs off fur and then it starts to regrow again,so it starts itching like heck.So the scratching begins.......Evil cycle. I think we are going to keep her neck nekkid until the fur grows in,then look for a padded collar. Collar mania sounds like a good christmas present for the Bella bull(I can hear myself justifying another collar purchase as we speak-GL will LOVE having to relent feeding my collar addiction due to medical reasons.lol)

With 9 dogs in the house,I have to have some control,and tags/id JIC they get loose.I want to be able to grab them,and retrieve them or be able to handle them if play 'turns'.Most of the time they rough house and inveriable smash full tilt into the screen door,so I want to make sure I can get them back if the door accidently pops open.(we have it latched,locked and blocked,but still)
