Lucy has always had thin neck fur, and it's kind of sensitive. I also suspect it has something to do with all the rough housing she does with the other dogs, as they tend to grab on to her neck skin and yank on it a lot.

I got her a collar from Collar Mania, and it has some kind of lining (I think satin?), and her neck is a good deal furrier when she does wear it.
