Maybe I'm too strict, but the dog didn't go after a stranger who was messing with her pups.. She went after the son of her owner who wasn't doing anything but being near her, and she jumped over something to come for him again after nipping him in the face. In other words she's proven she will go after a kid in her home. I do suggest a vet trip to make sure there is not something wrong before making any drastic decisions.. But for now they need to keep that bitch away form their kid.

They need to be very careful where they place those pups in case there is something wrong with the mom.

And this most likely is just from her pregnancy and the hormones it put her through, the stress of having the pups and caring for them.

I hope your friends have learned their lesson about breeding dogs who don't need to be bred in the first place..
