There's a really good reason why Dogo Argentino look like APBTs:

The base dog is the Cordoba Fighting Dog, and mixed with that were Great Danes, Bull Terriers, Boxers, Irish Wolfhounds, Mastiffs, Pointers, Great Pyrenees, and French Mastiffs (Dogue de Bordeaux.) Dogos were created to be big-game hunters ("hog dogs") which is yet another similarity they have with APBT.

There are several folks here in Georgia that have Dogo Argentino they use for hog hunting, and davidfitness83 is right....stand an APBT next to a Dogo Argentino, and you'll see a towering block of muscle over your dog.
