Growing up with Labs, this is pretty.. normal. They're Labs. Labs are annoying and hyper, usually til they're oh.. 3 or 4 LOL. Although, my parents Lab is 10 and he still has the mentality of a 2yr. old. I tell them that his body will go before his mind does!

You sound like you're doing the right things though. Maybe give her something to do on her walks, like carry a backpack, pull something?

I agree with giving her a job. Dock dogs is good, but maybe something else where she can really use her brain. SAR would be great, or hunting. Agility maybe? That's a sport geared towards high energy dogs.
