Sounds like a jerk on a fishing expedition rather than someone doing his research. I hope the people you sent emails to will read what Bandit's problem actually was and not buy the councimans's theory of an attack. I also hope his constituents find out about his attempts to ban the breed and come down on him like a ton of bricks now and at election time.
