Seriously, Dyson's are where it's at. I used to go through 2 vacuums a year. This crazy yellow one I've had for almost 3 years and still hasn't died. Plus it has a 5 year warranty and is guaranteed to keep its suction until it goes to vacuum heaven.

I will stand behind the Dyson as well. I have the regular yellow one that takes care of Uma's short hairs, my friend has a pet proven purple one but he has a cocker with a lot more shedding going on.
