We've never had our dogs stolen, but behind my in laws house is a garage.. i was sitting on the last step watching the kids play.. 2 men pulled up in the alley and got out and opened the back gate.. one went to grab tinkerbell and I started yelling at them.. Of course, they ran (without her).. I called the police and called my husband at work. a few guys down the road told my husband where the men lived.. (few blocks away).. he went to talk to them.. of course they was drunk and wouldnt talk.. he basically told them if they attempted to steal our dog again.. hed hunt them down.. when the police arrived.. i told them what happened, described the car, described the men, told them where they lived.. they made a report but did nothing.. the officer told us one of the men was suspected in pitbull thefts locally, but since he didnt actually steal her... they couldnt do anything.. needless to say.. they havent been back..
