Actually, I've been looking around (cause I'm bored like that) and I think I reverse my position. I think chaining IS cruel. The reason I say this is because the pictures on that site do not like pictures of our dogs. By our dogs I mean, healthy and happy dogs that are part of the family. I think they mean chaining as in the leaving of a dog chained outside for it's lifetime. I completely agree that this is indeed cruel. My dog gets chained too but only for a limited time period and he loves it cause he gets to play outside. Growing up, I lived next to a family that had their dog chained outside forever, winter summer, rain, sunshine, doesn't matter. He was practically fur and bones because sometimes they would forget to feed him. Out of sight, out of mind, why even have a dog then? So yes, chaining, if it's used like that is abuse.
