Alli Cat, responsible owners who have researched the APBT or any of the "bully breeds" know that two dogs of the same sex have a greater chance of fighting and that Dog Aggression in general is pretty common sometime before or after maturity. Its generally accepted that its best to get one of each sex in effort to lessen the chances of fighting. I know some people who have more than one of the same sex and have no problems, but I know a lot more ABPT owners who have more than one and live by crate and rotate. I also know people who have multiple Pits and have never had a problem, but still err on the side of caution and never leave their dogs loose together unattended.
I have an APBT and an AB. ABPT is female and AB is a male. I would honestly love to adopt another of either breed, but mine get along and I don't want to rock the boat
