Wow... sorry you guys went through this... definitely get a break stick. They don't prevent fights, but definitely break them up quickly. Pit Bull Rescue Central has really good ones and instructions on how to use one correctly.

I agree with the irresponsible owner thing... irresponsible owners that let their dogs run loose are my biggest pet peeve!
