Looks like we are running out of places, sigh
Areas right around Boston are SUPER pit friendly. I live in an area called Somerville and they are notorious for being dog friendly. I can literally walk to the city in 20 minutes too god forbid I take my dog for a long enough walk Id have to muzzle them! Luckily nobody around here cares, of course you have the occasional idiot that goes "you gonna breed em?" I just have to laugh..yea theyd be cute puppies but theyre mutts who cares?! The city is hit or miss you have a lot of old cops who love them or own them, and the new idiots who just get a hard-on for being hateful authoritarians. To be honest I just feel bad for my friends who live in the city and get shit ALL the time even if their dogs are muzzled . BSL if you ask me is just an attempt to get the breed out of the area, it doesnt take a genius to know if ANY dog is mad enough a piece of plastic won't do shit.

Take that message to the cops. Tell them you are worried about it because it sounds threatening... even if you aren't. You have to fight back, these people are loonies... Although, you don't let them out off-lead, do you? Just asking
I'd say stick closely to the law and don't let these idiots get you down... Pity THEM. Because they haven't known how wonderful it is to snuggle up with a bulldog at night and sleep knowing that you will wake up to someone who loves you unconditionally, and expects nothing but food and belly rubs.
I never let them off lead, the only time I did was when we used to go to dog parks. Now I only let my girl off the leash in the woods because nobody is around and she sticks by me...my male on the other hand hes got a real drive for chasing his tail around trees!
