Meet Redbud, a beautiful Pit Bull/Shiba Inu mix who, unfortunately, has been at our adoption center for probably close to a year now! None of our staff or volunteers can quite figure out the reason for his long stay with us. One possibility is that his calm nature in his kennel and his so-called plain reddish-brown appearance cause him to be passed by time after time. However, he is a southern gentleman. Redbud is completely housebroken and does not chew on inappropriate objects; just rawhides. He adores going for walks and getting belly and chest rubs. Superb leash manners! He will lean against your leg to get his head petted. He loves to play with lady dogs (even other pit mixes), but males tend to be a problem -- his only problem! His laid-back nature make him ready to play and chill with you. Redbud charms all who take the time to get to know him!! Won't you consider him as your next dog (no multi-male households though)? If you inquire about Mr. Redbud, say you heard about him from the Pit Bull Chat Forum, please. This is our first time trying this media for adoption! Interested? CALL The APS of Orange County: (919) 304-2300 ext 221 to speak about Redbud. You must come to our facility to meet Redbud & fill out an application prior to adoption.
