Not quite sure about the soil thing. I asked my vet about it and he said it has to do with the hormones in her pee, and he said every dog is different as far as the amount. He told me that I could spray my grass down with water every time she went to the bathroom, but I really do not feel like following her around with a water hose spraying where she pees
