Some of these dogs probably had issues but to euthanize every single one of them is ridiculous. If he had let other organizations in to evaluate the dogs at least we could have some sort of peace of mind that each individual dog was given a fair chance - that is one of the more frustrating parts. "Rescue" is not mass slaughter.

I don't think the $1 million should be considered the cost of rehab. That money was more or less for lifetime expenses, the true cost of "rehabilitating" the dogs was time effort and love by volunteers and organizations who specifically offered to do this.
