The answer is NO. The common rule is 3-4 week heat cycle. She is in the most critical time. The bright red bleeding is the beginning period. The week or so following bright red bleeding is when they are ready for breeding. IMO, keep her away from males for another week to 10 days. You should consider spaying her since you are not breeding her.
